northern alberta international children's festival

Dudes. This festival was amazing.

Every child needs access to creative fun like this! Tents full of musical instruments, dinosaur puppets, clowns, roving characters -- it was amaaaaazeballs. Adults too. Go to art festivals! So you don't get too lost in the adult-brain-world. You know what I mean. Adult-brain-world. Such a dark and scary place.

Anyway.

I was doing Little Red Riding Hood and The Frog Prince with Wide Open Theatre --

in the Telus Toddler Tent , which was a HUGE success. We shared the space with wonderful storytellers, a supportive tech team, and fabulous musicians.

Love, love, love it!

Also, Aga-Boom was amazing. . .  as well as LightWire Theatre (google it as their website isn't working for me), Metamorphoses, The Dinosaur Petting Zoo, St. Albert Children's Theatre, the breakdancers, and I hear Alice in Wonderland was fabulous but it was the only one I didn't see! Just click the banner above to go to the website and check out all the shows! If they are coming to your town,

 GO SEE THEM!!

Also, if your community does not have a Children's Festival,

MAKE ONE!

In other news, I am now providing drums and vocals in a band called . . .well, I can't tell you what we're called yet but I think we have decided a name. It's piano, accordion, drums. So far, anyway.

 I know, awesome right?
