"One must finally take one's life in one's arms"--Arthur Miller

Hello, beautiful, wide, world!

So, I'm done the Voice Intensive. How did that happen? How do I sum up the Voice Intensive?

Well, in the words of Carole King:

"
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down, tumbling down
I feel the earth move under my feet
I feel the sky tumbling down, tumbling down

I just lose control
Down to my very soul
I get hot and cold all over"

And I could quote many a saying to you that I heard over the course of the Voice Intensive ("How do I know how I think/feel until I hear what I say?"--EM Forster), but right now I will leave you with the few quotations I have already given and let you interpret what you may.

I will write more later, and of course post my previously promised documents (read: I promise), but for now I'm going to go outside and enjoy the wonderful (and rare) Vancouver sunshine.

Oh, and leave you with one more quote:

"What is voice?"

"Your response."

(Thank-you, David Smukler)
